From time to time adverse weather conditions may affect Kinder Kicks classes. If there is a hurricane or tornado alert, we may not have any option but to postpone classes. Please contact your local representative for an update on class cancelations if bad weather conditions occur. Make sure your teacher has a contact number for you and be sure to check our Facebook page for updates on class cancelations when possible.  Our first priority is to keep our families safe.

Not every child will be able to concentrate for the full 45 minutes of the class and we would not expect them to. It may take a few weeks for your child to become familiar with the class games, life lessons, activities, new surroundings and mixing with the other children, but they usually participate with great enthusiasm![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][title_nd title=”What to Wear” tag=”h2″ style=”title” align=”left” color=”#df7555″][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]

Parents and children should come prepared to work out! Children are encouraged to wear their Kinder Kicks t-shirts. Parents can purchase a Kinder Kicks t-shirt at an extra cost.  In martial arts classes children come dressed and prepared with their gi on.  We want the children to feel proud when they wear their Kinder Kicks t-shirt to class.  We also have a NO SHOES policy on the mat.  Please come prepared to go barefoot or wear socks.

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][title_nd title=”What to Bring” tag=”h2″ style=”title” align=”left” color=”#df7555″][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]

Remarkable Me families are encouraged to bring a blanket or yoga mat.

You will find a variety of toys, obstacle course items, bean bags, punch bags and balls out for the children and adults to explore and play with until class starts.  If you arrive while a class is still in session, quietly show your child where to put their shoes and get ready to play and learn!

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][title_nd title=”Cell Phones” tag=”h2″ style=”title” align=”left” color=”#df7555″][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]

Please turn off or silence your cell phone before and during class.  If you are required to answer your phone, please step off the mat and do so without disruption to the class in progress.

Please leave all juice and snacks in the car with the exception of babies nursing or bottle feeding.  As we will be working out, it is acceptable to bring a bottle of water for your child to drink.  Each instructor will guide your child as to when they can get a drink during class.

There are a lot of props in a martial arts school.  The majority will be kept out of the way. We ask parents to help us to re-direct a child if he/she becomes curious about our equipment if an instructor is unable to.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][title_nd title=”Children with Special Needs” tag=”h2″ style=”title” align=”left” color=”#df7555″][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]

We welcome all children into our classes.  Please talk to your instructor so that we can work together to give every child the best learning experience in class at all times.
